FLOWER EXPO POLAND – MARRIAGE OF BUSINESS AND GREEN LIFESTYLE

Hundreds of interesting species and varieties of cut flowers and potted plants, exhibitors from Poland, Europe and Africa. Thousands of visitors, Inspirations, arrangements and strong business potential – just a few things you can expect at the 4th edition of FLOWER EXPO POLSKA*, part of the GREEN IS LIFE International Expo since 2016. This event is realized with a passion for flowers, care for product quality, presenting the latest trends and business promotion.

BUSINESS GROWTH

When BureauSierteelt BV from the Netherlands contacted us in 2015 showing data on plant exports to Poland, which had increased by 22% in the course of three years and reaching a value of approx. 230 milion euros, our market potential looked more than promising. A natural step was to create synergy with the “GREEN IS LIFE” International Exhibition rooted in “green business”. Hence in 2016, our Dutch partners successfully initiated the FLOWER EXPO POLAND. In 2018, the project changed owners and merged with our Fair* program as and accompanying exhibition. Prosperity in the plant market continues – in April 2019 alone, flower export from the Netherlands increased by 19% to 343 milion Euro **.

Within three years, FLOWER EXPO POLSKA exhibited more than 150 companies representing 15 countries from around the world. These include companies from Poland, Germany, Belgium, Ecuador, Colombia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, Kenya, Uganda, China, Thailand and Japan. They were mainly producers of cut flowers, dominated by roses, potted plants, artificial flowers, accessories and floristic materials, ceramics and decorative elements.

The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to establish international business contacts, learn about market novelties and trends, as well as to take advantage of the space for meetings and discussions about the future of the industry. Apart from the presentation of exhibitors offers, the FLOWER EXPO POLAND program offers accompanying events such as: shows of recognized florists, practical solutions for florists and wholesalers, seminars and workshops conducted by experts. Visitors – flower shop owners, exporters, decorators, event organizers, and all thos involved in gardening take advantage of this extensive offer.

4. EDITION OF FLOWER EXPO POLSKA 2019 – NATURAL CHOICE

After two industry days of the fair – the third (Saturday) is dedicated to hobbyists – participation is a natural choice for enthusiasts of flowers and decorations. Special attractions are also in the works for them. The idea of this day is to familiarize visitors with various aspects of floristics in everyday life, as well as to provide practical information on potted flowers, their properties and place in interior architecture. High attendacne is demonstrated by the fact that nowhere else in Europe do consumers love flowers as much as Poles.
